First Aid Response Training

Competence, confidence and calm when it matters most

At Arbode Maritiem, we train First Aid Responders to act decisively, professionally and effectively in real onboard situations. Our First Aid Response training is practical, industry-focused and competence-driven, designed specifically for the passenger shipping environment.

We do not train for certificates alone — we train people who are expected to respond, often as the first link in the medical response chain on board.

Practical, Industry-Focused & High-Quality Training

Our First Aid Responders are trained by experienced first aid specialists with extensive practical backgrounds. Every course is delivered by instructors who understand the realities of passenger vessels, hospitality operations and emergency response at sea and on inland waterways.

Our training philosophy is:

  • Competence-based, not hour-based

  • Highly practical and scenario-oriented

  • Aligned with ROSR requirements and onboard procedures

  • Premium in quality, content and assessment

This ensures that crew members are not only trained, but fully capable and confident to act when an incident occurs.

Basic Course – First Aid Responder for Passenger Shipping

The 16-hour Basic First Aid Responder course for Passenger Shipping is intended for crew members who are required to provide first aid to casualties as defined in ROSR Article 15.13.

We strongly recommend this training for reception staff and selected members of the hotel department, as they are often among the first to respond to incidents involving passengers.
